Our history
Autotool has been delivering Industrial Automation solutions since 1994.
2017. Autotool commits to a $2.7M 80,000 square foot building expansion, nearly doubling its facility, providing more flexible space to configure automation solutions for its customers.
2014. Autotool deepens its commitment to develop the area's workforce as it partners with Career Centers, Ohio State University and Columbus State Community College apprenticeship programs.
2013. Autotool moves in to its new custom designed and purpose-built 87,500 square foot facility in Plain City, Ohio. The facility is purpose-built for our specific engineering, manufacturing, and administrative requirements.
2009. Through disciplined financial management and strict adherence to quality and delivery, Autotool thrives in the economic downturn and comes out of the recession growing.
2008. Autotool was successful obtaining projects in green energy equipment and traditional Big Three tier one auto suppliers.
2000. Autotool outgrows its original location and moves into a new facility in Plain City, Ohio. With this expansion, Autotool gained the space necessary to design, develop, and test several large production systems. The new building allowed us to maximize our in-house capabilities so that we could truly begin to provide our customers with a one-stop-shop facility for all their custom automation requirements.
1994. Autotool opens its first location in Dublin, Ohio with the vision of providing automotive manufacturers and their suppliers a single source for all of their tooling and automation needs. Since then, we have the tradition of producing effective turn-key solutions for product manufacturing.
