Electrical Assembly Technician

Job Overview

We are currently seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician-Level II to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for the assembly of electrical control panels, as well as cell related wiring for automated robotic welding and material handling applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Working from Electrical Schematics to perform the following
  • Layout, wiring, and modifying new and existing control panels
  • Wiring and cable routing of tooling, and system layouts
  • Running and landing cell cables
  • Pneumatics plumbing and wiring
  • Troubleshooting electrical components, panels, and circuits
  • Tear down of equipment in an organized manner for shipping
  • Installation of systems at the customer’s site 10%

Qualifications:

  • At least 2+ years’ experience in electrical wiring or panel building
  • Ability to understand & interpret, electrical & pneumatic drawings
  • Ability to understand and interpret mechanical blueprints
  • Experience running de-energized high & low voltage cables
  • Experience building cables, both crimp and solder type
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Must be willing to work overtime as needed
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with team and independently
  • Ability to lead and train others

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime as necessary
