Job Description:

As an Electrical Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in the assembly and installation of electrical components for our industrial automation systems. You will work closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of our products. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical Component Assembly: Safely and efficiently assemble and wire electrical components, including sensors, control panels, motors, and other automation equipment.
  • Panel Wiring: Accurately wire and connect control panels, following electrical schematics and diagrams.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality checks to ensure all electrical components are properly assembled and installed.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any electrical issues or malfunctions during the assembly process.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly procedures and make any necessary updates to documentation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure the successful completion of automation projects.
  • Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in assembly of low or high voltage equipment and reading schematics/diagrams/blueprints.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical assembly is a plus.
  • Familiarity with a variety of electrical tools, equipment, and hand tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.
  • Understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to a safe work environment.
