Position Overview
We are currently accepting resumes for a Field Service Engineer to join our Integration & Controls Team. This position is a unique opportunity for an Engineer who enjoys the trouble shooting aspects of a project and is willing to be hands on. The Field Service Engineer will be working directly on the assigned projects as an integral part of the installation and debug team. You will be exposed to both Robotics and Controls trouble shooting, while supporting the team as the boots on the ground.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot both hardware and software related issues, while working with multiple departments within the company as well as outside vendors, contractors, and customers to ensure lines are installed and operating correctly. The FSE will be responsible for resolving down-time equipment situations, while keeping a calm cool head.
When not in the field, the FSE will be a key member of the ongoing line builds we have on our floor. Opportunity to learn from some of the best Robotic & Controls Engineers in the business makes for unlimited growth potential in this position. Recent grads are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Troubleshoot existing PLC software
- Troubleshoot failing controls hardware
- Troubleshoot & debug robot programs of most major robot brands.
- On the fly fabrication or modification of components to solve problems
- Clearly communicate situational information and receive support from others within the Integration & Controls team.
- Take on experience level appropriate robot or controls projects as assigned by the Manager.
- Travel of approximately 30-40% can be expected depending on the size and duration of the assigned projects. Travel is required in the USA. International is voluntary and currently includes Mexico and Canada.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Recent or soon to be graduates in a technical field.
- PLC software troubleshooting and debugging experience at the classroom level.
- Robot programing experience including safety setup, single brand at a minimum.
- Strong analytical skills, able to access a situation a devise a solution.
- Highly mechanically inclined including fabrication practices & tooling adjustments

Schedule:
- Travel hours will vary depending on the situation
- Typical shop hours 7-330pm
- Monday to Friday
- OT can be expected.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dublin, OH: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
