Job Description:

As a CNC Machinist/Programmer, you will play a vital role in producing precision parts and components using CNC machinery. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and programming CNC mills and lathes, ensuring that the final products meet our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CNC Machine Setup: Set up and prepare CNC machines for operation, including tool selection and fixture adjustment.
  • Programming: Develop and modify CNC programs using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam) to meet engineering specifications.
  • Machining: Operate CNC machines and monitor the production process to ensure parts are machined accurately and efficiently.
  • Quality Control: Perform in-process inspections and quality checks to maintain high precision and accuracy.
  • Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machine settings, tool changes, and production data.
 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in setting up and running CNC machines.
  • Proficiency in CNC programming using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam).
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machine operation and tooling.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
  • Solid understanding of precision measurement tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification is a plus.
